GOWRI KRISHNA was established in 1933 by our Grandfather Shri. SITARAMA IYER, in the name and style of GOWRI VILAS at the Mayuram Town (Presently known as MAYILADUTHURAI) in Thanjavur District, Tamil Nadu, South India.
It was known for the PURE VEGETARIAN SOUTH INDIAN FOOD and was well recognized for its outstanding quality and standards.
Many VIPS including the PRIME MINISTER PANDIT JAWAHARLAL NEHRU visited GOWRI VILAS.
